Each weekend from 1st December to 23rd December, FountainPark played host to Santa and Mrs Claus with a free gift for every child along with free craft workshops and face painting.

Our spectacular snowmen light display was switched on by a lucky winner of the Radio Forth Charity Auction lot who bid to put our lights on with Boogie and Dingo from Radio Forth, there was also great carol singing by Tynecastle High School Choir. Click here to view pictures...

Virgin Active and FountainPark worked together to hold an exercisathon to raise money for two charities - Radio Forth Help a Child Appeal and Asbestor Related Cancer. this cumulated with a party in the evening.

Again Cineworld and FountainPark hosted the Edinburgh International Film Festival from 15-26th August. The opening gala was a great success with Hallam Foe being the opening film and Jamie Bell in attendance along with Franz Ferdinand. Many other starts appeared on the red carpet including Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann, Tilda Swindon to name a few.

The launch of the Harry Potter film was a fun day at FountainPark with characters from the film walking about with giveaways and a magician and inflatables on site. A competition was also run in conjunction with Radio Forth for the opportunity to win tickets to the film. Click here to view pictures...

In June we saw our newest tenant open, Circus Casino. The Casino had two spectacular opening nights, firstly to promote their 110 restaurant which was opened by celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and the second night saw lots of outside circus acts on site. Click here to view pictures...

Our Easter Family Fun Day was held on Easter Monday, with free face painters and craft workshops on site along with a walkabout magician, and kids had fun searching for Easter eggs around the mall.
